Standby Generators:

The WINCO Packaged Standby System is a standby generator which is permanently installed outside of your house and is usually connected to your house electrical system through an automatically operated transfer switch. A standby generator is always connected and ready for immediate use should a power interruption occur.

Upon sensing a power failure, the standby generator will automatically start, and as soon as acceptable electrical power is available, transfer your electrical system to generator power. When utility power returns the WINCO Packaged Standby System will automatically transfer back to utility power and shut itself off. All this will take place even if you are not at home thus protecting your home in your absense.

A standby generator system such as this is recommended for the most worry free operation. However, before ordering a permanent standby generator check with your local building inspector to be sure that you can adhere to all the local building codes pertaining to its location and installation.
